Approachable Parenting CIC is a registered company which is also a non for profit organisation that provides parenting courses and coaching to BAME families especially Muslim families within the UK. The organisation was developed because Muslim parents wanted help with parenting issues form an organisation who understood their background, culture and faith.
The evidenced based '5 Pillars of Parenting' programmes are culturally sensitive tailored for the Muslim communities, which integrating psychological models within an Islamic framework consistent with parental attitudes, forming a basis for motivational change within parenting.
We work with parents, both mums and dads over 4 weeks ‘Pregnancy and Beyond’ or 8 weeks ‘Pregnancy to 3 years’ which are delivered by qualified trainers.
Approachable Parenting is based in Birmingham, however we also work in London, Manchester and Bradford.
